Women’s tackle football tryouts


The Grand Rapids Tidal Waves women’s tackle football team is actively seeking new players for their 2020 season. Two open tryouts have been scheduled and will be held at Douglas Walker Park (1195 84th Street SW, Byron Center, MI 49315):

Saturday, October 12 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 p.m.

Sunday, October 27 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 p.m. 

There is no cost to attend tryouts and no prior experience is necessary. All positions are open. Any female athlete that has a passion for the sport of football and has ever wanted to play is encouraged to attend tryouts. A desire to learn the game and to work hard are the only prerequisites; the coaching staff will teach new players everything they need to know. A successful football team requires players of all body types, shapes, and sizes.  Join now!

Open tryouts for women’s tackle football


Mini camps scheduled to get ready

The Grand Rapids Tidal Waves women’s tackle football team is actively seeking new players for their 2020 season. Two open tryouts have been scheduled and will be held at Douglas Walker Park (1195 84th Street SW, Byron Center, MI 49315):

Saturday, October 12 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Sunday, October 27 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Additionally, three free mini-camps have been scheduled to help prospective players prepare for tryouts. Mini-camps will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Douglas Walker Park on August 24, September 14, and September 28.
