CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CSHS MARCHING BAND

The Cedar Springs High School Marching Band travelled to Ford Field for the MCBA State Marching Finals. They earned an 88.65, their highest score since entering MCBA competitive marching in 2009, and they left Detroit with a fifth place finish! Marching Band requires countless hours of hard work and tremendous dedication. They devote themselves toward becoming skilled musicians, stronger marchers, and a cohesive team. Our Marching Band students learn how to work together, get along with others, discuss and settle differences of opinion, and help each other through disappointments and rough days. By the end of the marching season, some might consider the Marching Band a well-oiled machine… or even a family. CSHS Band students also learn time management; many of these students are also taking AP classes and achieving honor roll status! It’s no wonder we ALL are so proud of these students and their accomplishments! Congratulations to the Marching Band and Band Co-Directors, Adam Borst & Ryan Miller! Go REDHAWKS!
