We received a nice note from Donna Clark this week. She and her husband Dan won* a set of four tickets to see the Lipizzaner Stallion last Sunday at Van Andel Arena.
“Our family absolutely loved seeing the Lipizzaner Stallions ‘dance’ to classical music. Dan, Tamar and our eldest daughter, Daneille, and I used the four free tickets we won through your subscription drive. I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to subscribe to the POST – tickets or no tickets!  We are so grateful for the gift of seeing the Lipizzaners for the first time. It has been a 25-year dream of Daneille’s to see these horses. She first read a book about them when she was 7 years old and later, in her early
teens, saw a video about them in Austria during the War. General Patton actually saved many of them from being killed during the devastation of World War II. I am not sure what was more exciting for me—seeing the stallions or seeing Daneille delight in the show.  Thank you!”

The “World Famous” Lipizzaner Stallions proudly present their 41st anniversary presentation of the “Dancing White Stallions” at the VanAndel Arena in Grand Rapids on Sunday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m.
Over the years, more than twenty-six million people throughout North and South America, Europe, Australia and Hawaii have seen this internationally acclaimed spectacle.
The Lipizzaner Stallions have galloped boldly out of the pages of over 425 years of history and are now preserved as an equestrian work of art, performing a unique equine ballet that has no rival.
Harkening back to a time when the horse was a symbol of grace and majesty, the Lipizzaner Stallions are truly a great experience to be enjoyed by the entire family!
There are a limited number of Gold Circle seats available for $29.50 each (no discounts available for Gold Circle seats). Regular admission adult tickets are $24.50 and $22.50 each. For children 12 and under and seniors 60 and over, regular admission tickets are half price at $12.25 and $11.25 each.
For groups of 15 or more, regular admission tickets are $19.50 and $17.50 each (no double discounts).
