Red Hawk golfer Audrie Davis got her first ever hole in one at Egypt Valley.
The Cedar Springs girl’s golf team may have finished 7th in the OK White Jamboree with a 252 on Wednesday, September 12, but the last shot of the day proved to be the talk of the tournament. Audrie Davis scored her first hole in one on #6 at Egypt Valley.
“It was awesome,” said Coach London. “I actually saw it go in.” Audrie thought it was pretty special too. “I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “It’s something I will never forget.”

The Cedar Springs Girl’s Golf team’s season came to an end at Thornapple Pointe Golf Course. The squad brought three girls to the Regional (state tournament) so there was no team score. Alyssa Keaton led the way with a fine score of 99, Michaela Tawney 115 and Audrie Davis 139.
“We really did improve a lot this season,” said Coach London. “My hope is the younger girls continue to play and improve during the next two or three years.”
