The Post traveled with Karen Smith, of Ensley Township, and her family to Georgia last month to welcome their son, SSgt. Shane Smith, home from Afghanistan. Welcome home, Shane—and thank you for serving our country! We are glad the Post could be part of such a great reunion!

Nathan A. Hoskins, of Cedar Springs, has graduated from Basic Training and Advance Infantryman Training at Fort Benning, Georgia.
Hoskins, a member of Alpha Troop, 1st Squadron, 126th Cavalry Regiment, Cadillac, Michigan Army National Guard, attended Basic Training for 10 Weeks and Advanced Individual Training for 5 Weeks.
