Tour of lights

Bob and Tracey Fitzgerald love decorating for Christmas, and their holiday display brightens up the whole corner!

Have you decorated the outside of your home for the holidays? Or, do you know of a home that has a great display? The annual Post Tour of Lights map is in production, and we’d like to add your addresses to the list! Email us the information so that we can all have the joy of driving by and seeing the beautiful displays. Or, if you drive by someone’s home and would like to add them, you can do that too! Catch of the Week

OUT-Catch-of-week-FitzgeraldWhen Bob Fitzgerald reeled in this beauty last weekend at Sand Lake, he was in for a big surprise. The fish was a sunfish that weighed in at 14-1/2 ounces and was 10 inches long.

“It was the biggest sunfish I have ever seen, let alone caught,” said the Sand Lake resident. “It was lots of fun to catch. This fish fought more than some small bass I’ve caught.”

Congratulations, Bob, on a great catch!

It’s back—get out those cameras!

It’s that time of year again when anglers big and small like to tell their fish tales! Send us a photo and story of your first, best, funniest, biggest, or even your smallest catch. Include your name, age, address, and phone number, along with the type and size of fish, and where caught.  We can’t wait to hear from you! Photos published as space allows. Photos/stories may be sent by email to news@cedarspringspost.com with Catch of the Week in the subject line, or mail to:

Catch of the Week, PO Box 370, Cedar Springs, MI 49319.
