They’re Engaged! Elizabeth Moore of Cedar Springs is to be married to Cole Anderson of Howard City. Ms. Moore is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Merri Moore of Cedar Springs. Mr. Anderson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie and Jennifer Hockstra of Howard City and the late Mr. Mark Anderson of Roscommon. A May wedding is planned.

Eugene Jr. and Lori Finch of Cedar Springs are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Jean to Michael James Reeder II. Michael is the son of Rita and Michael Berndt of Grant, Michigan and Michael Reeder and Deb Campbell of Greenville, Michigan.

Miss Finch is a 2011 graduate of Cedar Springs High School and is employed at the United States Postal Service. Mr. Reeder is a 2011 graduate of Sparta High School and is employed at Wynalda Packaging in the Information Technology department.

A September 2015 wedding is planned.

Mr. and Mrs. Nort and Kelly Johnson are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlin Elizabeth Johnson to Alexander Christian Feighner, son of Catherine Griesmer and Charles Feighner. The couple will be united in marriage on December 13, 2014 and will reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Darrell and Heather Huntoon of Idaho Springs, Colorado are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Irene Huntoon to Ryan Kelly Lindeman, son of Amy and Andrew Lindeman of Great Falls, Montana. Grandparents of the bride are; Max and Loretta Huntoon of Sand Lake, Michigan, Carol Brooks of Howard City, Michigan, Phillip Brooks of Kissimmee, Florida, and great grandma Betty Goller of Rockford, Michigan.  The couple met while attending Montana State University. The bride earned her master’s degree in experimental psychology. Meghan is currently a doctoral student at Northern Illinois University. Ryan will graduate with his bachelor’s degree this coming May. The groom is employed as an Army combat medic. The pair will marry August 2, 2014 in Central City, Colorado.

Rick & Sherry Rought of Gowen announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather, to Sam Armstrong. Sam is the son of Glen and Wanda Armstrong of Cedar Springs, Michigan. The bride is a graduate of Davenport University and is employed at Farmers Insurance. The Groom is attending Davenport University and is employed at GE Aviation. A summer wedding is planned in Holland, Michigan.

Joe & Tracey Blackmer of Cedar Springs are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Blackmer to Charlie Dubridge, son of Chuck and Linda Dubridge of Cedar Springs. Melissa is the granddaughter of Ken and Judy Wiersma and Gordon and Betty Blackmer. Charlie is the grandson of Charles Dubridge and Pat and John Nester. The couple are both graduates of CSHS and plan to reside in Cedar Springs. They are looking forward to their wedding in Las Vegas in March.
