Thank You

A special “thank-you” to two special readers, Vern and Lenora Lanning, for brightening our day. Your note of appreciation, along with your donation, was just what the doctor ordered! Also, our thanks here at The Post to Jeffrey and Ashley Uhen, also from Cedar Springs, for their contribution to their hometown weekly newspaper.

And, not to be forgotten, to Ranger Steve for his wonderful articles that he writes (pro bono) on our world of nature. We especially appreciate last week’s article. You’re a great guy Ranger Steve!

Sincerely,

Lois Allen, Publisher of The Post

Thank you

The family of Roger Fifield would like to thank everyone for the cards, flowers, meals, donations to Helen Devos Children’s Hospital and Renucci House and for the support during the recent loss of a great husband, father, and grandfather. We take comfort from the sympathy you have given to our family and from the memories that were shared. We ask that you love those that are dear in your life, because the time you share is precious. Do not wait for tomorrow because tomorrow may never come.

Thank you

The family of Leon E. Avery would like to express our gratitude and thanks for all the love, prayers and cards given and shown to our family during Leon’s sickness and passing. Also, thanks to the neighbors that assisted in helping to move Leon when we could not do it physically, the neighbors so thoughtful in bringing food and beverages prior to and after Leon’s passing, and to the members of the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church for their meals.

THANK YOU!

I was a little shocked to see the article my daughter, Lois, put in her newspaper, The Post, regarding my 90th birthday.

I have received over 70 wonderful and heartwarming cards and notes from old friends and well-wishers of which many that I don’t even know!

It made my birthday very “Happy” and special this year. Thank you all!

THANK YOU!

I want to give a heart-felt “Thank you” to those of you (and you know who you are) that sent my mother, Alice Allen, a birthday card in celebration of her 90th birthday. As a senior in poor health, this pandemic is taking its toll on her physically and emotionally. Getting those cards meant the world to her and lifted her spirits when she really needs it. Again, thank you for your kindness and the effort you made in this difficult time to reach out and show someone special to me that they are special to others, too. You are great!

Lois Allen

Alice’s birthday is this Saturday, July 18th, and there’s still time to shower her with more birthday cards.

Thank you

Please forgive me for my procrastination. I couldn’t, and still can’t find the words to sufficiently express my gratitude to everyone for your heartfelt condolences following the death of my son, David MacKinnon. My family and I truly appreciate all the cards, food, phone calls, gifts and prayers.

Thank you very much.
