Robert Lewis Nowack, age 80, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was born to Herman and Lucille (Thorpe) Nowack on January 3, 1942 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Robert worked as a sawyer in the metal fabrication industry for over thirty years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert also enjoyed participating in shooting sports and raising and training Springer Spaniels. He also collected outdoor sporting memorabilia. Robert is survived by his sister, Kimberly Nowack; brother-in-law, Gary Nitz; and niece, Angela Robertson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Carol Nowack. There was a memorial visitation for Robert from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N Monroe St., Rockford, MI 49341.
