The Cedar Springs Red Hawk bowlers have been busy since Christmas break.  On Monday, December 20, they competed against the formidable Forest Hills Eastern at home, at Rockford Lanes. The girls beat the Huskies 29-1. The Varsity guys won 22-8 and the JV guys won 27-3.

On Monday, December 27, the team competed at the South Haven/Allegan Invitational. The girls bowled well but were unable to finish in the top 4. Our Varsity guys had an outstanding day. They finished 4th in qualifying and came back to win the tournament! Great job, guys!

On Tuesday, December 29, the tournaments continued with the Annual Christmas Baker Tournament (baker=5 bowlers each bowl 2 frames, 1st bowler bowls 1st and 6th frame, etc).

The girls took the limelight in this tournament. The guys placed 5th, and the girls qualified 2nd and won the tournament! Great job, ladies!

Our January match was canceled due to weather. Saturday, January 8, we competed in the Jenison Bowl Invite at Fairlanes in Grandville. Both teams bowled well but didn’t make the top 5. The highlight of the day was Chloe Fisk. Chloe took 1st place bowling a 218 and 231.  Congratulations, Chloe!
