theTable Meals at The Springs Church

Dec. 8,16,23: Meals are served every Thursday fom 5:30 to 6:30 pm at The Springs Church on the corner of Oak and Grant. All are welcome to theTable to enjoy this free meal that is being shared with us! #tfnb

Wreath Making Kits at HCNC

Dec 10-19: Wreath making kits will be available at the Howard Christensen Nature Center’s Interpretive Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 4 pm starting November 26th. Purchase a handmade grapevine wreath to take home and deocorate – add a bag of trimmings to your order. We’ll have a variety of ribbons, natural trimmings and holiday ornaments to choose from. Christmas Bake Sale 

Dec. 10: A Christmas Bake Sale by the Sand Lake United Methodist women will be held at Independent Bank on Friday, December 10th from 9 am to 5 pm. Homemade treats and Prize Raffle. #47-49

Sand Lake Christmas Party and Santa Visit

Dec. 11: Bring your cameras to the Sand Lake Christmas Party at the former VFW Hall on Saturday, December 11th from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Santa will be there with goodie bags. Large prize drawing, crafts and cookie decorating. Free carrage rides. #47-49

Kids’ Craft Day at HCNC

Raffle Fundraiser for the Kent Theatre

Dec. 11,12: The Kent Theatre will be having a raffle on Saturday, December 11 and on Sunday, December 12 during the Christmas Shows. The raffle is $1.00 per entry and the prize is at least one ticket to the Andy Gross Show on Saturday, December 18 at 7:00 pm. Andy is an internet sensation as a comic, ventriquist, and magician. FREE MOVIE! 

Dec. 15: Free movie on Wednesday, December 15th at 6 pm. The inspirational movie is based on the true life of legendary football player Kurt Warner and his wife Brenda. This is a premier early showing for the first 200 entering NorthStar Cinema located at 11699 – 14 Mile Road, Rockford. Doors open at 5:30. This is provided by En Gedi a local mission supported by local businesses, churches, and individuals. #49

An Outdoor Christmas Experience

Dec. 23: Come and experience Christmas Outdoors at Frost Creek! There will be a live nativity with a petting zoo of camels, sheep, goats and donkeys, games and activities for the kids, hot chocolate, a tree lighting, and bonfire barrels for warmth. The evening begins Thursday, December 23rd at 6:30 pm with the tree lighting at 7 pm. Frost Creek Church is located at 15671 Algoma Ave., Cedar Springs (just north of 19 Mile Rd.) #49

One Act Play Festival

Jan. 3: Attention Playwights! The Cedar Springs Community Players are hosting a One Act Play Festival in the spring of 2022!
