theTable Meals at The Springs Church

Dec. 2,8,16: Meals are served every Thursday fom 5:30 to 6:30 pm at The Springs Church on the corner of Oak and Grant. All are welcome to theTable to enjoy this free meal that is being shared with us! #tfnb

BUNCO at Rockford Masonic Lodge

Dec. 3: BUNCO is back! First Friday, December 3rd. Sponsored by Rockford Order of the Eastern Star – everyone welcome!  6 pm at the Rockford Masonic Lodge, 1430 Northland Drive NE (across from Bell Furniture). $5.00 donation to play. Live Indoor Nativity

Dec. 3,4: Live animals will greet you. Come inside to see and talk to: Shepherds, Soldiers, Town Merchants, Angels, Wise men, Mary, Joseph and see the Christ Child. Enjoy refreshments and stay a while. Friday, December 3rd from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday, December 4th from 1 to 3 pm at the Sand Lake United Methodist Church (6th and Maple St.). #47,48

Craft and Vendor Sale at Resurrection Church

Dec. 4: Christmas Craft, Vendor and Library Book Sale at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 180 S. 3rd St. (Northland Drive) in Sand Lake will be held on Saturday, December 4th from 9 am to 2 pm. #47,48 

Cookie Walk at St. Peter’s

Dec. 4: St. Peter’s Lutheran Ladies Guild is hosting their annual Cookie Walk on Saturady, December 4th. The church is located at 310 East Division in Rockford. It begins at 9:00 am and ends when the cookies are gone. Cookies are sold by the pound and you select from many holiday favorites. Stop-in and check a little holiday baking off your busy list! The Guild donates proceeds to various charities. 

Wreath Making Kits at HCNC

Dec 3-19: Wreath making kits will be available at the Howard Christensen Nature Center’s Interpretive Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 4 pm starting November 26th. Purchase a handmade grapevine wreath to take home and deocorate – add a bag of trimmings to your order. We’ll have a variety of ribbons, natural trimmings and holiday ornaments to choose from. Christmas Bake Sale 

Dec. 10: A Christmas Bake Sale by the Sand Lake United Methodist women will be held at Independent Bank on Friday, December 10th from 9 am to 5 pm. Homemade treats and Prize Raffle. #47-49

Sand Lake Christmas Party and Santa Visit

Dec. 11: Bring your cameras to the Sand Lake Christmas Party at the former VFW Hall on Saturday, December 11th from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Santa will be there with goodie bags. Large prize drawing, crafts and cookie decorating. Free carrage rides. #47-49

Kids’ Craft Day at HCNC
