Irene C. Earl, age 77, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly from Cedar Springs, Michigan, died on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Phoenix. She was the daughter of Raymond and Caroline (Gehler) McMahon, born May 3, 1944, in Detroit. She and her husband, David Earl, owned the Bliss-Earl Funeral Home in Cedar Springs for twenty years. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, David Earl; daughter Amy (Jason) Brown of Vero Beach, Florida; son Daniel (Crystal) Earl of DeWitt, Michigan; sister Cheryl (Rick) Walker of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren, Aidan & Ainsley Brown and Donovan, Elliott, Roswell, Avery, Savannah, and Maeve Earl; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, her brother Thomas McMahon, and granddaughter Evelyn Earl. Funeral services held Saturday, June 19th at 1PM Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home in DeWitt, Michigan. Internment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association.
