Camp out for pediatric hospice

Camp out for pediatric hospice

For the last year, 11-year old Max from Great Britain has been camping out to raise money for the hospice that took care of his neighbor. His incredible effort is inspiring people across the world to join him on March 27 for Max’s Big Camp Out. Max is encouraging children (and adults) to have their own camp out to raise money for their favorite charity.

Following Max’s lead, we are encouraging everyone in our community to participate and raise money for Jo Elyn Nyman Anchors Programs for Children at Hospice of Michigan and Arbor Hospice, the country’s only statewide pediatric hospice program.

We have put together some fun family activities from story time with a princess to campfire songs and much more.  We will be sharing these activites on our social media pages the night of the event.  If you register ahead of time, you will receive an e-mail the day before camp out with a link to all of the activities for you to do at a time that works best for your family on March 27.

If you have children, grandchildren or know anyone with children, please share this with them and ask them to participate.

Join us on March 27 for our own pediatric hospice campout!

There will be a special Facebook live storytime and sing-a-long with the Snow Queen. Join the Snow Queen who will read a story, sing songs and answer your questions.

PLUS:  Every family that registers for a Camp Out will be entered into a drawing to win either a 4-pack of tickets to SEALIFE Aquarium or a 4-pack of tickets to LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills.

Drawing to be conducted Monday, March 29.  Winners of each 4-pack will be notified.
