Diner gets new life

C & B Diner, located at 4615 14 Mile Rd, is an adorable, newly remodeled diner serving breakfast and lunch to the Rockford, Cedar Springs, and surrounding communities.

Owners Chris Elliott and Bobby Beurkens opened the new restaurant in December 2020, in the space that was formerly the home of the Cedar Rock Café and Kismet Café, which both closed in 2020.

Breakfast and lunch are served from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays-Sundays. They serve friendly smiles, large meal portions and the ability to order lunch for breakfast or breakfast for lunch! You can find their full menu on their Facebook page @CBDiner.

They will also be holding all you can eat fish on Fridays during lent from 4-8 p.m. Fried perch will come with French fries and a side salad and homemade tartar sauce.

C & B Diner is big on community and community involvement. They are partnering with local non-profits each Sunday. Ten percent of all Sunday sales will be donated to a local nonprofit each week. Watch their Facebook page for daily specials and which nonprofit will be supported when.

“Our C & B Diner team looks forward to getting to know our customers,” said Elliott. “We are extremely grateful to be able to serve customers inside the diner and cannot wait until we are allowed full capacity again. We would love to host special events, special menus, live music, etc. on a regular basis.”
