Virtual Cooking Class

Oct. 22: Calling all young bakers/chefs to check out the Cedar Springs Library’s virtual Cooking Class! A video will be posted to our page and YouTube Channel Thursday, October 22nd at 6pm where tweens/teens can create an easy dinner and dessert recipe that your family is sure to enjoy! Virtual Instapot 101 Class

Oct. 22: Join the Cedar Springs Public Library virtually for our Instapot 101 Class! Recipes are posted and the video link will be made available on our Facebook page and YouTube Channel starting Friday, October 16th at 7pm. Geared for adults. Trunk or Treat at East Neslon Church

Oct. 24: Join East Nelson Church, 9024-18 Mile Rd., Cedar Springs, for our annual Trunk or Treat! October 24th from 4 to 6 pm. We will keep everything safe and follow all safety and health protocols. This year, everything will be kept outdoors. We will have sanitize stations, social distance markers, and those passing out candy will be wearing masks and gloves. We ask that one family visit a trunk one at a time. As you leave, you will be served cider and donuts! #42,43b

Silent Auction for Algoma Christian School

Oct. 24: Algoma Christian School will be hosting their Silent auction online starting on October 24th-November 5th. For more details go to algomachristian.net. Our live auction will take place on November 7th at 6:00 at Algoma Christian School gymnasium. Our address is 14471 Sparta Ave. Kent City. We will serve a pre-packaged dinner and a farmers market will be available with cash and carry items. #42,43p

Free Concert at Snow Bible Church

Oct. 25: Free live concert October 25 at Snow Bible Church, 1877 18 Mile Rd NW, Kent City, MI. The Royal Heirs with be live in concert 10:30 am at Snow Bible Church. All are invited to come here hear some good old Gospel music. #43

Halloween “Mask-A-Raid” 

Oct. 26-31: The Cedar Springs Public Library will be having a Halloween “Mask-A-Raid” starting on Monday, October 26th through Saturday, October 31st! Dress in costume (if you’d like), but get this…IT’S MAINLY ABOUT THE MASK THIS YEAR! HA! The Plan is to take photos of everyone “In Mask” and post them on Facebook for FUN! The RAID part is when you say, “Trick-or-Treat” for a special Halloween treat. Come anytime during normal business hours Mon.-Fri. 10am-6pm and Sat. 9am-12pm. Don’t forget to wear your mask, after all, it IS Halloween! #43

Trunk or Treat at Pine Ridge Bible Camp

Oct. 31: Come join Pine Ridge Bible Camp for a late afternoon of fun for the whole family on Saturday, October 31 from 3 to 6 pm! The day will include free activities like trunk or treat, illusionist shows, puppet shows, wagon rides, music and other fun activities. For those that want more fun, charged activities include laser tag, go carting, ninja course and archery. $10/person for wrist band for all activities except go carting. Single activity tickets can be purchased for $2 per ticket (go carting will be 2 tickets). Open to people of all ages. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Food can be purchased at the snack shop. Costumes are optional, but the camp requests that costumes be wholesome and not scary or gory.
