CYNTHIA RUTH CLOUSE


Cynthia Ruth Clouse of Rockford, Michigan, age 65, passed away peacefully, surrounded with love by her family, on Saturday, October 10, 2020. She was born to Robert and Mary (nee Gauthier) Simmons on May 1, 1955, in Traverse City, MI. Cindy adored her family and was passionate about her faith, always trusting in God with all her heart. Cindy was a registered nurse with a strong commitment to holistic care. She spent much of her time helping people and always put others before herself. She loved being with her grandchildren and enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, boating, biking, kayaking, and relaxing at the family cottage on the Little Manistee River. Cindy is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Michael J. Clouse; loving children, Tom (Kelly) Clouse and Laura (Dan) Scholten; adored grandchildren, Paige, Adam, Justin, Tyler, Liam, and Maya; siblings: twin sister, Marie (Harm) Perdok, Amy (Mark) Wawersik, and Ted (Wendy) Simmons; and many nieces, nephews and family members. Cindy was preceded in death by her son, Gregory J. Clouse and both her parents. A funeral service was celebrated on Saturday, October 17, 2020. Box 9716, Federal Way, WA 98063.
