On Saturday, August 29, 2020, Cirilo Cervantes passed away at the age of 53. Cirilo was born on February 8, 1967 in Mexico. He made the difficult decision in February 1999 to leave his family to venture to America for a better life. Michigan would become his new home. Once here he met Pamela Tanis. He loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family. Cirilo was known to all as a caring and hard-working man. Cirilo also enjoyed his time working at Olive Garden and Uccello’s. He was known to put all others ahead of himself. Cirilo will be sadly missed by his significant other of 20 years, Pamela Tanis; daughter, Ashleigh Cervantes-Tanis and son, Michael Cervantes-Tanis of Cedar Springs; his family in Mexico, sons, Cirilo and Alberto Cervantes and daughter, Elizabeth Cervantes. Cirilo is also survived by two granddaughters in Mexico, Melisa and Louisa; his mother, Virginia; many nieces and nephews, cousins and siblings. The family would like to welcome you to their home, 20704 Squires Rd., in Conklin for a celebration of his life on Saturday, September 5th at 2 p.m.
