Five-year-old’s body found

UPDATE: The search for a 5-year-old Montcalm County boy came to a tragic end Thursday when it was announced about 12:30 p.m. that his body was found in water near his home. He had been missing since 2:30 p.m. Christmas Day.

Beau Belson had been missing since Christmas Day.

According to the Michigan State Police in Lakeview, Beau Brennan Belson, 5, was last seen outside of a residence in Six Lakes playing with other family members. When they noticed he was missing, family members tried to find him in the area but couldn’t locate him.
