Lose weight sensibly with TOPS

Mar. 5: Take off pounds sensibly (TOPS), a non-profit weight loss support group for men and women, meets every Tuesday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sand Lake. Your first visit is free so come check out what TOPS can do to help you reach your weigh loss goals! Weigh-ins 8:15-9am, meeting starts at 9:15am. In case of inclement weather, meetings are cancelled if Tri-County or Cedar Springs schools are closed. Call Martha at 696-1039 for more information. #09

MCC Offers Bus Trip to Chicago

Mar. 16: Montcalm Community College offers a one-day bus trip to Chicago on March 16. Registration is underway and ends at noon on March 13. The cost is $24 for students and $45 for non-students. The fee covers the cost of transportation, and participants must pay for their food and for their entry fees to attractions. Participants have time to visit one or two attractions during the trip. Popular options include the Adler Planetarium, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Field Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Science & Industry and Shedd Aquarium. The bus leaves MCC’s Sidney campus at 6:45 a.m., picks up passengers at the Greenville Walmart parking lot at 7:15 a.m. and returns to MCC at 10:30 p.m. Children ages 12-17 may attend with an adult.
