Annual Cookie Walk

Dec. 3: St. Peter’s Ladies Guild’s Annual Cookie Walk will be Saturday, December 3rd at 310 E. Division in Rockford from 9 am until the cookies are gone. We will have the traditional favorites plus some new delicious delights. They will be sold by the pound and you pick the combination. Stop in and pick up some cookies for the holidays. Proceeds help our Mission Projects throughout the year. #47,48p

Craft Show

Dec. 3: Resurrection Lutheran in Sand Lake, 180 Northland Drive, will be hosting a Craft Show on Saturday, December 3rd from 9 am to 2 pm. 30 vendors – food – raffle – book sale. #48p

Vendor and Craft Show

Dec. 3,4: The Rockford American Legion, 330 Rockford Park Drive, is hosting a Craft and Vendor Show on December 2nd from 5 to 9 pm and December 3rd from 9 am to 4 pm. Lunch will be available for purchase. #47,48p

Chalk Artist and Ventriloquist

Dec. 4: Chalk for Christ artist and ventriloquist, Rod Snow will present an entertainment show the whole family can enjoy, Sunday, December 4th at 4 pm in the sanctuary of the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church. Please join us for an afternoon of fun! There is no charge for this event. #47,48p

Dinner at the Legion

Dec. 5: American Legion, 80 S. Main St. Cedar Springs, is hosting a Baked Chicken dinner on Monday, December 5th, from 5 – 7 pm. Included will be baked chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, stuffing, veggies, salad, roll, drink and dessert. The cost is $9 for adults, children (15 and younger) $4.00. Come and enjoy home cooking. God’s Kitchen in Cedar Springs

Dec. 6,13,20,27: Join us for dinner every Tuesday. God’s Kitchen – Cedar Springs welcomes families from Northern Kent County and the surrounding area to a Tuesday Evening Meal. Drive-in Movie at KDL in Spencer

Dec. 7,8: What could be better than decorating you own “car” to sit in while eating popcorn and enjoying Mo Willem’s Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! Please bring a sturdy box that your child can sit in. We’ll have craft supplies on hand to rev-up your child’s “car.” Come early to decorate your car and reserve your “parking space” for the film. It’s a Wonderful Life Radio Play

Dec. 8-10: The Cedar Springs Community Players is presenting “It’s a Wonderful Life – A Live Radio Play” on December 8, 9 and 10 at 7:30 pm at the Kent Theatre, 8 N. Main St., Cedar Springs. The play is inspired by the 1946 Frank Capra movie. From humble beginnings the movie has become an enduring American holiday favorite. Advance tickets are $10 at the Cedar Springs Library or $12 at the door and $8 for kids. #48

Visit Santa at Courtland Fire Department

Dec. 10: Santa will be visiting the Courtland Fire Department on Saturday, December 10th from 1 to 4 pm. The Fire Department is located at 7480 – 14 Mile Rd. just east of Myers Lake Rd. Punch and cookies will be served. #48

Newaygo Community Christmas Concert

Dec. 11: The Newaygo Community Christmas Concert will be held on Sunday, December 11th at 6 pm at the Grant Fine Arts Center, 331 E. State Rd., Grant. Come an enjoy the sounds of the Christmas Season. Admission is FREE. #48,49p
