Girls Scouts at CTA

CTA now has a Girl Scouts Troop!! The troop was initiated by the wonderful Mrs. Rose (Spanish and Technology teacher in the high school) as a way to allow her daughter and eleven other kindergarten through second grade girls to enjoy their first experience with Girl Scouts! Kindergarten teacher, Lauren Bostic, joined in to serve as a co-leader and help foster highly desirable character traits into the young ladies at CTA. In Girl Scouts, the girls are learning  COURAGE, CONFIDENCE and CHARACTER, and how to make the world a better place. With biweekly meetings, the girls are learning to be responsible, to use resources wisely, and to respect authority. The troop is also learning to be honest, fair, friendly, and helpful!
