Auditions for Upcoming Play
Feb. 8,9: The Cedar Springs Community Players are pleased to announce auditions for its upcoming one-act mystery productions of “Heat Lightning” by Robert F. Carroll-a thriller about a young woman who witnesses murder on a lonely country road one stormy night; “The Man Who Died Twice” by Robert Black-a Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson mystery; and “Sorry Wrong Number” by Lucille Fletcher-a thriller that takes place in the ‘50’s. Auditions will be held at the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church on Monday and Tuesday Feb. 8 and 9 at 6:30 – 8 p.m. Needed are 4 males and 2 females, and 5 that can either be male or female, ages between 18-60+. TOPS weight loss support group
Feb. 9: Take off pounds sensibly (TOPS), a non-profit weight loss support group for men and women, meets every Tuesday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sand Lake. Your first visit is free so come check out what TOPS can do to help you reach your weigh loss goals! Weigh-ins 8:15-9am, meeting starts at 9:15am. Anti-Valentine’s Day Party
Feb. 9, 10: Take aim at Valentine’s Day with a Nerf arrow competition, creation of anti-Valentine’s Day cards, decorate devastating cookies and watch the pilot episode of “The Walking Dead.” Tuesday, February 9th at 5 pm at the Spencer Township KDL Branch, 14960 Meddler Ave., Gowen and Wednesday, February 10th at 6:30 pm at the Nelson Township/Sand Lake KDL Branch, 88 Eighth St. #5
