AA Meetings at Rebos House

Wish Tree at Metron

Dec. 4: Metron of Cedar Springs, located at 400 Jeffrey, would like to announce that our facility will be displaying a Wish Tree from now until Christmas. Family and community members are welcome to choose an ornament from the tree which will outline  specific Christmas gift items for our residents. Live Indoor Nativity

Dec. 5: A live indoor Nativity will be held at Sand Lake United Methodist Church on Friday, December 5th from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday, December 6th from 1 to 3 pm. Come stroll the streets of Bethlehem and see the miracle of Christmas unfold. This is your first stop in our Village Churches Progressive Advent. All are welcome.  #49


Rockford Community Holiday Concert

Dec. 7: Enjoy the delightful sounds of the season as the Rockford Community Band, Choir and Orchestra present their annual holiday concert. Sunday, December 7th from 3 to 5 pm at the Rockford High School Auditorium, 4100 Kroes St. NE, Rockford MI 49341. They will be playing all of your seasonal favorites and snacks will be served during intermission. Come be a part of a Rockford tradition! Admission is free but donations are welcome. #49


Christmas Fund Distribution

Dec. 12: Due to the generosity of the late Evelyn Cossin, there are limited funds available again this year to assist some families in need for Christmas. The funds are available only to families living in the Cedar Springs city limits. Please send or bring letters requesting assistance to: Cedar Springs United Methodist Church, 140 S. Main St., PO Box K, Cedar Springs, MI 49319, C/O Janet Avery. All letters should include some brief summary of your need for assistance. Letters must be submitted and post marked and received NO later than Friday, December 12th. Please note: If awarded some assistance, we will send you a letter informing you of your pick up times of 10 am – noon and 7 – 8 pm on Monday, December 22nd at Cedar Springs UMC. All letters received will receive some notification of acceptance or denial of assistance. #49,50p


12 Days of Christmas in Sand Lake

Dec. 13: The 12 Days of Christmas in Sand Lake kicks off on Saturday, December 13th from 10 am to 4 pm. Fun for everyone and special savings all around town. Santa at the Library, Kids Games & Crafts, Cookie Contest, Outhouse Races, Quilt Show & Raffle, Ugly Sweater Contest, Vintage Snowmobile Show, Soup/Chili Luncheon, and Community Caroling. A Christmas Night of Worship

Dec. 7: Solon Center Wesleyan Church presents: A Christmas Night of Worship… Coffee, Candles, Carols and Praise. Sunday, evening, December 7th at 6 pm. Visit Santa at Courtland Fire Department

Dec. 13: The Courtland Fire Department will be having Santa come to visit on December 13th from 1 to 4 pm for all ages. He will be located at 7480 – 14 Mile Rd. We will be serving punch and cookies to all to visit. #49


Holiday Cookie Walk

Dec. 13: “Holiday Card Making” meets on December 13th from 9 am to noon in the Stanley and Blanche Ashe Technology and Learning Center on Montcalm Community College’s Greenville campus. Dec. 16,17: “CPR Health Care Provider – Refresher” meets on December 16 from 1 to 5 pm on MCC’s Sidney campus. The cost is $45. “CPR Full Course” meets on December 17 from 8 am to 5 pm in Sidney.
