Cedar Springs Wrestlers Clean Up the Community

Copper, brass, water heaters, sheds, tractors, auto parts, etc… If it is metal the Cedar Springs High School wrestling team is recycling it. The student athletes are cleaning up the community and using the profits to achieve their goals on the wrestling mat.

currently, eighteen Red Hawks are participating at the Flat River Wrestling Club in Lowell, MI. Flat River provides the wrestlers with some of the best instruction in the state. The scrap metal drive has funded over two thirds of the expenses for the Spring and Summer sessions.

Over 3 tons of metal has already been recycled and the team is seeking more. If you would like to help clean up contact Coach Nick Emery 616-799-0163 or connect on facebook.com/groups/cedar.springs.wrestling/. The team accepts pickup or delivery.
