Rummage Sale at East Nelson UMC

Nov. 9: East Nelson United Methodist Church, 9024 – 18 Mile Rd., is hosting a rummage sale on Saturday, November 9 from 8 am to 4 pm. Bargains Galore! Something for everyone; furniture, appliances, clothing, housewares, etc. Snacks and lunch available. Fundraiser for church youth group’s 2014 mission trip. #45


Fall Craft Show at Coral

Nov. 9: The Coral fire Auxiliary is having their annual Fall Craft Show this Saturday, November 9th from 9 am to 2 pm, at the Coral Community Center, 4662 N. Bailey Rd. #45


Veteran’s Day Flag Ceremony at Metron

Nov. 11: As we honor those who served this country, Metron of Cedar Springs, located at 400 Jeffrey, invites the community to join us for a flag ceremony presented by members of the American Legion Post 287, Prayer presented by Pastor Tom Holloway, and music provided by the Cedar Springs High School Band, on Veteran’s Day, November 11 at 2 pm. Everyone is welcome to stay immediately following the ceremony for refreshments. #45


Dinner at East Nelson UMC

Nov. 13: East Nelson United Methodist Church, 9024 – 18 Mile Rd. is having their monthly dinner on Wednesday, October 16th from 5 to 7 pm. Everyone is welcome! The cost is a free will donation. The menu is turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, carrots, salad and several homemade desserts. See you there!


Free meal at OLC Family Center

Nov. 14: God’s Kitchen North welcomes Northern Kent County families to join us the 2nd Thursday each month for an evening meal. No charge – No registration required. Served from 6-7 p.m. at Our Lady of Consolation Family Center, 4865 11 Mile Rd. NE in Rockford. #45


Solon Center Wesleyan Church Bazaar 

Nov. 16: Accomplish your Christmas shopping at our annual craft bazaar. Saturday, November 16th from 9 am to 3 pm. Lots of vendors (our largest bazaar in many years). Delicious, fresh baked cookies and bars, numerous booths of hand crafted items and jewelry, and many other vendors. There’s definitely something for everyone. Rolls and coffee, and a lunch counter are also available. The church is located at 15671 Algoma Avenue, just north of 19 Mile Road. #44-46p


Widow’s Weekend Bazaar

Nov. 16: The American Legion Auxiliary is having a Widow’s Weekend Bazaar on November 16th from 9 am to 3 pm. Sponsored by Glen Hill Unit 287 Auxiliary . Looking for that special something? Maybe you will find it here! There will be garage sale merchandise, arts & crafts, bake sale, etc. #45


13th Annual Holiday Bazaar

Nov. 16: Courtland Oakfield United Methodist Church will hold it’s annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, November 16th from 9 am to 3 pm. 10295 Myers lake Ave., Rockford, between 12 Mile and 13 Mile Rd.
