Graduation 2013

Creative Technologies Academy held its 15th Commencement on Wednesday, May 29 at the Kent Theater in Cedar Springs. Forty-three graduates received their diplomas this year, CTA’s largest graduating class in its short history. Salutatorian Andre Winters honored outgoing science teacher Gerry Verwey, and Valedictorian Grace VanEnk challenged her classmates to show compassion to a world in need.
The graduation address was given by EnGedi founder and Solon Center Wesleyan Church Senior Pastor, Tom Holloway. He spoke to the graduates about “Leaving a Legacy.”

*GRAD-CTA VanEnk_GraceCTA Valedictorian
The Valedictorian of the Class of 2013 is Grace VanEnk, daughter of Brian and Susan VanEnk of Sand Lake. Grace has been accepted and will continue her education at Davenport University where she will major in forensic accounting.



*GRAD-CTA Winters_AndreCTA Salutatorian
CTA’s Salutatorian for the Class of 2013 is Andre Franz Winters, son of Michelle Winters of Cedar Springs and Troy Winters of Rockford. Andre plans to continue his education at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, South Carolina.
