The Kent County Sheriff Department is investigating the damage of several grave markers at the East Nelson Cemetery, located in the 8500 block of 18 Mile Road, in Nelson Township.

The damage included grave markers of American military personnel. It is believed that the damage occurred during the overnight hours of November 2 and early morning hours of November 3.
