JV football loses to Greenville

The JV team suffered its second loss of the year in Greenville on Thursday, September 20, to the tough Yellow Jackets. Greenville got on the scoreboard early by returning an interception for a touchdown and never looked back. The Red Hawks got their only score on a 60 yard run by Nick Steed.

“Injuries are really starting to take a toll on the team,” noted Coach Bowers. “When you have to spend halftime teaching kids new positions because you don’t have anyone left to play, it is hard to be competitive.”

The Red Hawks will regroup from all the recent team changes and prepare to travel to Hastings on Thursday, September 27. The JV team added Hastings to their schedule due to the early cancellation of the Forest Hills Eastern JV team. On Thursday, October 4, the JV will go to Northview. Please come out and support these boys!
