The Michigan State Police reported that a Good Samaritan was riding a bicycle on July 4, about 8 a.m., on Kendaville Rd near M-91, and found a large sum of money on the shoulder of the road.

The bicyclist told police he rides his bike almost daily in the area and did not notice the money during his morning ride on July 3.

Troopers are asking anyone with information on whom the owner might be to contact the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post at (989) 352-8444
