Last weekend, the Cedar Springs Area Select Soccer Association U12 girls team played in a tournament in Traverse City. They won all three of their games on Saturday and Sunday, earning a spot in the championship game on Sunday. They tied the championship game, resulting in overtime (25-minute halves). Our girls continued to persevere, and the overtime resulted in yet another tie game. They then continued on in a shootout, where our girls got 3/5 goals making them the championship winners for their division, with a score of 6-5.

The girls play grand Rapids Crew for the championship game, another great group of athletes, they held their own.
