A Thanksgiving bloom

A Thanksgiving bloom

Karen Hayden, of the Baptist Lake area in Ensley Township, saw something on Thanksgiving this year that she has never seen before—blooms on her forsythia bush.
“I have had scattered blooms on forsythia and flowering quince in the fall, but usually in September or October,” she said.
Hayden said that the blooms appeared a few days before Thanksgiving.
Thanks, Karen!
