Holiday Bazaar
Nov. 19: On Saturday, Nov. 19 from 9 am to 3 pm, Courtland Oakfield United Methodist Church, 10295 Myers Lake Ave., Rockford will hold their Holiday Bazaar. More than 35 crafters, plus a bake sale, cookies by the pound, and Grandma’s Attic. Lunch will be available.  #46

Natural Ornaments & Pinecone Wreaths for the Holidays
Nov. 20: Sunday, November 20, 10:00 – 12:00 PM. Create a selection of holiday ornaments made from natural and collected materials used to bring a bit of the outdoors into your home this season. This class is best suited for adults and older teens. Wreaths have always been a favorite decoration of many as they‘ve been a traditional symbol of the holidays for years. $14/person, $12/students, $12/seniors. Dinners at the Legion
Nov. 21: On Monday Nov. 21 the Cedar Springs American Legion, 80 Main St. will have a Pork Chop Dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies, rolls, dessert and drink from 5-7pm. All dinners $8, child $4. Take out available. Last dinner will be Roast Beef on Dec. 5.  #46

TOPS weight loss support group
Nov. 22: Take off pounds sensibly (TOPS), a non-profit weight loss support group for men and women, meets every Tuesday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sand Lake. Your first visit is free so come check out what TOPS can do to help you reach your weight loss goals! Exercise 8-8:30am (optional), weigh-ins from 8:30am–9am and the meeting starts at 9:15am. Free Thanksgiving Community dinner
Nov. 24:   The community is invited to enjoy a complimentary, hot delicious meal of turkey and all the trimmings!  Fun for the whole family and lots of children’s activities.  Doors open at 12:30pm with meal service beginning at 1:00pm.  Location is at Rockford Reformed Church, 4890 11 Mile Rd. Fireside Chatters book discussion
Nov. 28: Join us on Monday, November 28, 6:30pm to discuss the book The Girl’s Guide to Homelessness by Brianna Karp along with coffee and treats at the Sand Lake/Nelson Township Library, 88 Eghth St., Sand Lake. 616-784-2007. #45

Spaghetti Supper
Dec. 2: Enjoy an All You Can Eat Spaghetti Supper sponsored by the Maple Valley Fire Department for the 150th Anniversary of Coral on Dec. 2 from 5 pm – 8 pm. Music by the Old Time Gospel Singers.  #46-48p

Holiday Make & Take
Dec. 3: Saturday, December 3, 9:00 – 11:00 AM. You won’t want your kids to miss this one! They’ll make eight unique gifts and wrap them up with the assistance of our volunteer team. Voila! Your children’s holiday shopping is done. This event is most appropriate for K – 5th graders. $12/child. Registration and payment due November 23. Snowshoeing
Dec. 4: Sunday, December 4, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Special Day, you and your loved ones can enjoy snowshoeing together on our scenic trails with a snowshoe guide – build a team and join the festive fun – snow permitting. $3.75/person, $3/students, $3/seniors.
