Cedar Springs Women’s Club
Nov. 3: Women of all ages are invited to join the Cedar Springs Women’s Club. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of our members through civic and social activities, while enhancing the lives of others through community service. We meet at noon on the first Thursday of the month at the American Legion Hall in Cedar Springs. Our next meeting will be on Thursday Nov. 3. Annual Fall Sale
Nov. 5: The Cedar Springs United Methodist Church Women’s Group is having their annual Fall Sale on Sat. Nov. 5 from 9am to 2pm. Come start your Christmas shopping with us. We will have crafts, gently used jewelry, books, toys, knick knacks, Christmas decorations along with baked goods. Proceeds are going to the CS United Methodist Women’s missions. #43,44b
Annual Holiday Bazaar
Nov. 5: The American Legion Auxiliary is having their Annual Holiday Bazaar on Sat. Nov. 5th from 9 am – 3 pm at the Cedar Springs American Legion Post. Sand Lake Lion’s Club Variety & Craft Sale
Nov. 5: The Sand Lake Lion’s Club Variety & Craft Sale will be held on Sat. Nov. 5 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Sand Lake Methodist’s Ed building. Quality used toys, children’s books and quality used clothing; Avon, Wildtree, Tupperware and Pampered Chef. Also the Methodist Youth Bake Sale. #44
3rd – 6th Grade Girls Basketball
Nov. 5: 3rd – 6th Grade Girls Basketball is starting this weekend. Hawks Hoops is now directed by Scott Taylor, the new girls varsity coach. Registration is at 8 am for girls in 3rd and 4th grades and the cost is $55. Registration is at 10 am for girls in 5th and 6th grades and the cost is $65. Practices follow registration and this all takes place at the CSHS on Sat. Nov. 5th. More information is available online at www.csaparksandrec.com. #44
Dinners at the Legion
Nov. 7: The Cedar Springs American Legion, 80 N. Main St. will host a baked chicken dinner on Mon. Nov. 7 from 5 – 7 pm. Dinner includes mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies, rolls, dessert and drink. All dinners are $8, children $4. Take out is available. #44p
Story-Rama!
Nov. 9: Star in a silly story production! Kids bring favorite stories and fables to life through audience participation, puppets and props! In partnership with Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore. Turkey Dinner
Nov. 9: The East Nelson United Methodist Church will be serving roast turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, cabbage salad and homemade dessert from 5 pm to 7 pm on Wed. Nov. 9. Relay for Life Team Benefit
Nov. 12: An all you can eat pancake breakfast will be held on Nov. 12 fro 7:30 – 10:30 am at the Applebee’s in Greenville. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children under 12. All benefits will go to Cindy Scriber’s Relay for Life team for the American Cancer Society. #44
Bethel Lutheran Church Annual Bazaar
Nov. 12: The Bethel Lutheran Church Annual Bazaar will be held on Sat. Nov. 12, 9 am to 2 pm. Located on M-46 east of Old 121, Howard City, Mich. Local Crafters, Bake Sale, Country Store, Card Corner, Christmas Decorations, drawings for Quilt & Craft items. Breakfast & Lunch will be served. Natural Ornaments & Pinecone Wreaths for the Holidays
Nov. 14: Create a selection of holiday ornaments made from natural and collected materials used to bring a bit of the outdoors into your home this season. This class is best suited for adults and older teens. Wreaths have always been a favorite decoration of many as they’ve been a traditional symbol of the holidays for years.
