The Cedar Springs Marching Red Hawks will host the 2nd annual Cedar Springs Michigan Competitive Band Association Marching Competition at Red Hawk Stadium on Saturday, October 15.  Many bands from the area will compete starting at 5 p.m. The following bands will perform between 5 and 6:45 p.m.: Kent City, Godwin Heights, Belding, Grant, Newaygo, and Allegan. Between 7 and 8:30 will be Hudsonville, Reeths-Puffer, Jenison, Fruitport, Northview, and Cedar Springs. The award ceremony will take place at 8:50 p.m.
Tickets for the competition are $7 for adults and $5 for students.  Programs are available for $2. For more information visit www.cedarspringsbands.org.
