JV team small in numbers, big in talent

With just 15 players dressed for the first 3 games, and 14 for the 4th, the JV Redhawks were, nevertheless, an unstoppable force.  They put an an average of more than 40 points on the board for each game, while giving up just 12 points total in the first 4 games.
Assistant coach Tyson Hoffman said, “I think the biggest challenge for the players has been that they need to know multiple positions on both offense and defense. Kaden Myers has played 6 different positions for us this season and he is a freshmen. If one player gets hurt its not as easy as just putting someone else in that spot sometimes we have to move 3-4 guys just to make it work.”
Whatever they’re doing, it seems to be working as they’ve rolled over Tri County, Flint Northwestern, Forest Hills Eastern, and most recently Coopersville.  The Red Hawks will head to Forest Hills Northern this Thursday to face the Huskies in game 5 of what has been, so far, an incredible season.
