The Main Street Restaurant, 151 S. Main Street in Cedar Springs, will be featured on WZZM13’s Sunday morning news, during a breakfast segment.
Regular customers Jerry and Marilyn Moyer, who work at Lakeside Campground, recommended the restaurant, owned by Ron and Arlene Seabolt, for the segment.
A reporter and cameraman met the Moyers at the restaurant Wednesday morning. They interviewed the Moyers and Arlene, and then followed Jerry Moyer into the kitchen, where he was able to help make his breakfast.
The TV station also shot three groups of people (including wait staff) waving and saying, “Hello, West Michigan!”
The segment will air on Sunday morning, July 24, during the last portion of the show, sometime between 6:30 and 7 a.m., and the shots of the people waving will air throughout the 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. show.
Also, coming soon to Main Street—an outdoor eating area! The brick patio has been laid, and it will be about three weeks before it is open to the public. It will have four black wrought-iron tables and chairs for diners who wish to eat outside.
WOW! Can’t WZZM TV 13 come up with something a little more original then “Hello West Michigan”. This saying has been used by the Heaven is My Home Radio and TV Network for over nine years now. Maybe WZZM should change it to something like “Wake Up West Michigan”. Come On WZZM…. Be a little more ORIGINAL!
