Roast Beef Dinner

Dinner at the Legion
July 18: A meat loaf dinner will be served at the American Legion, 80 Main St., Cedar Springs on Monday, July 18 from 5-7pm. Dinner includes meat loaf, mashed potatoes, veggies, rolls, desserts and drink. Cost is $8.00 adults and $4.00 children. Take out available. #28

Travel to Isle Royale National Park
July 19: The Cedar Springs Public Library invites you to travel to Isle Royale National Park, “A Must See Canadian Park” with Vic Foerster, July 19, 7-8pm at the CS Middle School. The Great Lakes wilderness island is where wolves and moose keep each other at bay, where world-class lake trout inhabit the waters, and all visitors must leave by October. A great powerpoint presentation is planned. Call the library to reserve (696-1910) or just show up! #28

North Kent Toastmasters Club Teaches Valuable Speaking & Leadership Skills
July 19: Toastmaster members enhance valuable public speaking & leadership skills through practice and encouragement. Classic Car Show and VBS
July 21: A Classic Car Show will be held on Thursday, July 21 at Grace E.F. Church on the corner of Northland Dr. and 13 Mile Rd. Come show off your classic car or hot rod and you could win the People’s Choice Award trophy and a $50 gift certificate to a Darden Restaurant. The event will be held from 5:30 to 8pm (weather permitting) on July 21. The winner will be selected at 7:45pm. You must be present to win. A free grilled hot dog dinner and dessert will be available. Please register by July 18 to Tom or Mary at 616-696-0471. There is no fee for the car show and dinner is free. This is in conjunction with Grace’s VBS, called “Plug into the Power”, which runs July 18-21, fromm 6:30 to 8pm. Children from K to 4th grade are welcome. Jason Eaton Band concert
July 23: The Jason Eaton Band will be in concert at 7 pm at the Greenville Community Church located at 6569 Vining Rd., Greenville mi. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at i tickets as well as gcclink.com.  The gcc praise team will open the show with Jason headlining. They are a great band and have played at several large venues.

PandaMania VBS
July 24-28: What happens when a pack of Panda Bears invade The Springs? A wild celebration of God’s unconditional love! At PandaMania Vacation Bible School kids ages 4 yrs. – 6th grade will discover that God has a purpose and plan for everyone and that He crafted each of us with His own loving hands.
