Auditions for “Leading Ladies” by Ken Ludwig
June 20 – 21:The Cedar Springs Community Players are pleased to announce auditions will be held for their August production of “Leading Ladies” a comedy by Ken Ludwig who also wrote “Lend Me a Tenor” and “Moon Over Buffalo.” Needed are 5 men and 3 women (ages 20-50+). A variety of backstage and technical positions also need to be filled, and the Players welcome anyone who has an interest in theater and/or drama. It’s a great way to make new friends and have some fun to boot! Auditions will be held at the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church on Main Street on Monday and Tuesday, June 20 and 21 from 7 pm to 8 pm. Enjoying Life: Learn How Relaxation Can Help You
June 29: Dr. Amy L. Jarchow a licensed clinical psychologist with Human Resource Associates will be leading this special presentation at the Anxiety Resource Center on Wednesday, June 29 at 7 pm. Individuals will have the opportunity to learn how to enjoy living more fully in the moment. Kent Theatre Golf Outing
July 9: The 11th Annual Kent Theatre Golf Outing Fundraiser will be held at Cedar Chase Golf Course-7155 17 Mile Road, Cedar Springs, MI 49319 on Saturday, July 9th, 2011.  Shotgun Start at 2:00 pm, sign-up at 1:00 pm.  Cost is $50.00 per person and includes 18 holes of golf with cart, free hot dogs and brats during the round and dinner with pulled pork sandwiches, salad, and dessert when round is over.  Loads of contests including a $10,000 Hole-In-One Challenge on #8.
