Helen Irene Marvin of Howard City passed away peacefully on May 29, 2011 at Metron of Greenville. She was born in Hersey, Michigan the daughter of Byron and Edith Bowers on July 21, 1925. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 48 years Frank Marvin, sons, Robert Douglas, and Steven Dean Marvin and four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn ( Rex A.) Bremmer, a sister Ruth Louck and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Helen worked for Wolverine in Howard City and Rockford for 18 years.  She devoted the next 15 years to babysitting over a dozen different children, a role she cherished.  She was a natural born teacher, nurturer and was like a grandma to them. In accordance to her wishes cremation has taken place. No formal services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Heckman Funeral Home Howard City, Michigan.
