Missing girl found

Leah Ann Drake, 15, when missing from her Lowell home early this morning.


A missing Lowell girl has been found. Leah Ann Drake, 15, was located at a residence in Grattan Township at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. She had been missing since early Tuesday morning. Kent County Sheriff Deputies said she is safe and contact was made with her family. Police thank everyone for their assistance iin locating her.


Police are searching for a  missing Lowell teen who walked away from her home at 10808 Lockewood Dr. SE early this morning.

The girl has been identified as Leah Ann Drake, 15. Her family discovered Leah missing from the home around 6:30 a.m. The Kent County Sheriff Department believes she left on her own, but said the circumstances are suspicious and it is being actively investigated. Investigators would like assistance in locating her.

She was wearing a black short-sleeve shirt, mint green skirt, black shoes, and blue denim hat. She was carrying a black bag and has braces (black and red). Her hair is now black, and she is shorter than she appears in the photo.
