Albert “Fred” Castor

Albert “Fred” Castor 66 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Fred was born September 23, 1944 the son of Albert and Beulah (Sheldon) Castor. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Glen Hill American Legion Post and the Sons of the American Legion. Surviving are his children, Mandy (Riley) Boren, and Scott Castor; 3 grandchildren, Courtney, Kayla, and Ben; mother, Beulah Castor; brother, David (Terrie) Castor; sisters, Brenda (Al) Vega, Anna (Dan) Bekins; aunt, Marge Castor; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marla and father, Albert Castor. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
