The Cedar Springs Rotary Club recently presented framed newspaper articles to the Girl’s Cross Country Team and the Boy’s Soccer Team. Rotary participates in Youth Leadership Training and Scholarships, which was evident in these two teams’ outstanding success during the 2010 fall season. Both teams broke school records and ranked at the top locally, regionally, and in the state.
“Knowing that positive leadership is necessary in order for a team to experience success, our Rotary Club wanted to thank the coaches and players for their hard work and sacrifices. Positive leadership and team work allow our entire school district and community to celebrate,” said Gabrielle Warner, Rotary Club President.
