Never too young to run!

Taking on the big boys and looking to get a leg up on the competition, Dallas Mora, 10, has decided to follow in his older brother Connor’s footsteps. Dallas started running in 5Ks earlier this summer and has got bitten by the running bug. Dallas competed in the open Cross country race after the regional races were completed Saturday in Benzie Central and ran a personal best time of 21:57. The Cedar View fifth-grader knew he would be up against much older and seasoned runners but he only had one goal in mind and that was to run his best time of the year. He was all grins when he crossed the finish line, knowing he had accomplished his goal, as well as finishing ahead of a lot of the field.
