Teen gets first deer

Brendan Paepke, 13, son of Nancy Smith and the late Jason Paepke, of Cedar Springs, shot his first deer ever in Nelson Township during the youth hunt on September 26. Brendan is in 8th grade at Cedar Springs Middle School.
