The Red Hawks JV football team brought home another win for Cedar Springs last Friday against the Flint Northwestern Wildcats 52-14.

“It was a great team effort, both offensively and defensively,” stated Coach Bowers.

The JV Hawks dominated the Wildcats. Scoring for the Hawks were Cameron Cooper, Kyle Niewiadomski, Allen Slagter and Tim Karafa, all made possible by the offensive line.

Defensively, the Wildcats were stopped again and again with hard, key tackles and a few fumble recoveries and an interception. The JV Hawks have a great start to the season, now 3-0. Tonight (Thursday) they will travel to Coopersville to take on the Broncos at 6:30 p.m.
