Weingartz gives away Cub Cadet lawn tractor

In a customer appreciation event held in Cedar Spings Saturday, April 24, Michigan-based outdoor power equipment retailer, Weingartz, announced the winner of one of two Cub Cadet lawn tractors valued at more than $2,000.

As part of the Field of Dreams Giveaway, Ron Walker of Plainfield Charter Township beat out seven other finalists, drawing the key that unlocked the LTX1046 lawn tractor. “I’ve won t-shirts before, but never anything this big in my life. This is great!” said Walker, a Weingartz customer for 12 years. Walker is still deciding whether to keep the lawn tractor at home or take it to his cottage, but he has decided he’s finally going to let his wife help mow the lawn.

The Field of Dreams Giveaway celebrated Clarkston’s Grand Opening event, which was emceed by Jordan Carson, Face of 4. The eight finalists were selected randomly from in-store and online entries as well as from the crowd at the April 24 event. Runners-up received a $50 Weingartz gift card. Another Field of Dreams Giveaway was held at Weingartz’s Clarkston store on Saturday, April 17. Lou Hagar of Washington, MI won that giveaway.

Since 1945, Weingartz has been the trusted North American leader in sales and service of outdoor power equipment. As a family owned and operated business, Weingartz has long been an advocate for the commercial and the residential buyer, designing, innovative service programs tailored to the needs of valued customers.
