Scavenger Hunt at Nature Center

Join us at the Howard Christensen Nature Center for the spring break Scavenger Hunt on April 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Come to the Red Pine Interpretive Center to get your scavenger hunt form, go hiking and when you are done get a stamp on your Connecting Families with Nature Passport. See the animal displays and bring your lunch for an indoor picnic if you like. The HCNC is located at 16190 Red Pine Drive, Kent City, MI 49330.  Contact us at (616) 675-3158.

Don’t forget that April 2 is the deadline for ordering from the Kent Conservation District Spring Seedling Sale Catalog. Find more information on-line at www.kentconservation.org.

Please donate your used nature books and magazines to our April 17 Earth Week Book Sale. Field guides, books for children and adults are needed. Please drop them off at HCNC on April 5 (10-2), April 13 or 15 (8:30-2:30), or contact us to make other arrangements. More information about the Earth Week Pancake Breakfast and Book Sale can be found at www.kentconservation.org/hcnc .
