This year’s high school musical is the British award winner HONK!  It is based on the story of The Ugly Duckling, by Hans Christian Andersen. Though it is suitable for children it will be very much appreciated by adults. It is a touching story about being different and learning to get along in a big scary world.  The story is often hilarious and filled with the best sort of humor—puns.

Senior Nick Bonarski (Fred, Miracle on 34th Street) plays the part of Ugly, and his pursuer, Cat, is junior Steve Reed (Santa Claus, Miracle on 34th Street). Mother Duck, Ida, is Senior Sara Sowerwine and Father Duck, Drake, is Senior Tim Moll. Senior Nate Stein and junior Jenna Johnson lead the Geese.  Please join our flocks of ducks, geese, and swans for a “poultry tale” in the high school auditorium on March 18, 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7.00 and available from cast members, in the high school office, and at the door.
