Grace Delores Ferguson

Grace Delores Ferguson, age 75, a resident of Royal Oak, died December 29, 2009 after a prolonged illness. She received her BS and Master’s degree in education from Wayne State University and taught elementary children in the Oakland County Public Schools for 29 years. She was a former member of the Mackinac Bridge Authority, a member of the Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Grand Opera Association, the Sinai Hospital Guild, the Berrien Hills Country Club and the Cedar Springs Historical Society. Delores was the widow of Ardale W. Ferguson, son of Dr. G.A. Ferguson and grandson of Capt. W.P. Andrus, early settler of Cedar Springs. Aunt Dee will be missed by niece Margaret Eldred and nephewss Merlyn French and Kenneth French also several grand nieces and nephews and friends.
